Harrison + Kevin came to me with a vision rooted in their love for nature and nostalgia, with the hope that I could help bring direction to it and shape it into the perfect blend of past and present.

Their wedding took place on Harrison’s dad’s property in the Pacific Northwest, where what was once an overgrown blackberry patch was transformed into an intimate ceremony space tucked within the woods, with benches made from the trees that were cleared. At the altar, it was just Harrison, Kevin, and her younger brother, who officiated.

From the very beginning, the goal was never to create something overly traditional, but rather something that felt true to them. The bride’s love for vintage pieces served as the cornerstone of her vision. Every detail carried meaning, including the color palette, which was inspired by the surrounding trees and seasonal shifts. We were intentional about creating a design that didn’t compete with the environment, but instead complemented it. The tablescape brought in soft, feminine florals layered with earthy tones, natural textures, and seasonal fruit to enhance the organic feel.

The night ended in the most fitting way, espresso martinis in hand, barefoot in the grass, surrounded by their closest people, with Harrison wearing a reimagined version of her mother’s wedding dress. It was playful, a little unpolished, and completely reflective of who they are. Harrison + Kevin’s wedding was not about perfection, but about presence. Although both Harrison and Kevin thought it was exactly that, perfect!
