No matter what you hear there is no real rule, you can spend as much as you want on your day.  But the mantra that "you get what you pay for" is also very true.  Almost anything is possible in the event industry, but there is usually a price tag involved!
The majority of my clients spend an average of  40-100k on their Wedding Days, with a focus on guest counts of under 90 people.
